The system will automatically recognise the device and start playing.

Toyota Touch and Toyota Touch & Go can connect to USB sticks, as long as they are 2.0 and above, and MP3 players.

Simply plug in the USB stick or MP3 player and the system will automatically recognise the device and will start to play the music on the device.

Regardless of whether you are connected via Bluetooth or through the USB port, if there is something specific you want to listen to:
Press OPTIONS
Press BROWSE FOR MUSIC

  2. I have a Auris hybrid with Touch 2 With Go. I updated the s/w and maps to version 6.17 in April. I have connected my Google Pixel 4a to the system by Bluetooth and can play music controlled from the phone, but cannot browse my music library from T2WG as the browse button is greyed out. Browse does work on a Bluetooth-connected iPod and on a usb stick. Why doesn’t browse work on the Pixel 4a?

    1. Hi JayA,
      Thank you for your comment.
We’ve checked with our multimedia team, and unfortunately the Browse feature is not supported on the Pixel 4a.
      Thanks.

  3. That means the device is effectively useless for music on the move, as I can’t use it while driving. I hope this is just a short term issue? The device is quite new, but as more Android 11 devices come to market, I would expect you to upgrade T2WG to support them. Please confirm when an upgrade will be released. Thanks.

    1. Hi JayA,
      Thanks for your reply.
We don’t have any information regarding when an update will be available. Sorry about that.
      Thanks.

  4. Ok, well my samsung galaxy s8 used to work with browse but does not any longer following an update. It is not the phone at fault but compatibility with the latest android updates. Can you confirm why it stopped and it an update to the cars entertainment system could be planned in the near future?

  5. My Toyota C-HR 2018 Hybrid will not pick up my MP£ player through USB can you advise, the USB will pick up USB stick

  6. Hi,

I have the Toyota Corolla 2021 and my issue is with Apple Carplay and more specifically Amazon Music. When I am stationary I can access all my Library lists (Artists, Albums, Playlists etc.) but as soon as I start to drive I am only able to access a small part of my music e.g. just artists/albums starting with A, so about one scroll of the touchscreen. Is there a way I can access all my music whilst driving like I previously have on my VW and Audi?
At the moment I can use my phone to scroll to my desired music as it is still accessible on this, but would obviously be easier and safer via Carplay.
    Thanks.

  7. Hi, I have a 2017 Avensis and after having a flat battery i now cant play music from my bluetooth, i have tried turning bluetooth off and on and still it wont play anything. Do you have any idea how to fix this please. Thanks.
