  1. Well, just taken delivery of new UK Rav4. Can’t believe Toyota do not cater for a Mac on the portal, even if it was just download named files. I have also checked map version on the Navigation and it is 18 months old. Toyota want £110 to get the latest update. After spending £28000 that is a disgrace. Even a portable nav system will come with latest or there will be a free update to the latest version.

    1. Hi Graham,
We’re sorry to hear of your disappointment with the navigation system, and have passed on your feedback to the relevant department. If you would like to speak with our Customer Relations team; you can find their details through the following link: http://ow.ly/dWbjP.
We do hope you enjoy your new RAV4.
      Kind regards and many thanks.

    2. I have just purchased a brand new Yaris Hybrid, apparently stuffed with all the latest electronics and now I find out I cannot use the full potential of the Touch&Go system just because I have a Mac? This isn’t 1990 anymore, more and people are using Macs and iPads – I really cannot believe you’re not offering proper software for your systems.

Then, on your portal it says I can transfer trips from my home computer to my Yaris. Well, the video is clearly out of date. At the moment I can only send a postcode to the car, but not a full set of directions. Or am I doing something wrong? Just to make sure I tried it with 3 different browsers, but none showed me any directions on the map.

      Not happy, Toyota.

      1. Hi.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
We appreciate your comments and have fed this back to the relevant department for consideration. Currently, the system does not support Macs. For any future map updates your local Toyota Dealer will be able to assist with transferring them to your Touch & Go system.
Once again we apologise and would like to ensure you that your feedback has been passed on.
        Many thanks.

  2. Just had the dealership on the phone. Free upgrade to latest version of maps has been approved. Whilst pleased, the situation should not have occurred.

  3. Hello.

I purchased a new Toyota Yaris 1.33 5D Active from Greece one month ago. This version includes a touch and go module. The problem i am experiencing is that when i insert a usb flash memory in order to listen to some of my mp3s (divided into 2 different folders in my memory stick)i cannot browse through my folders. The mp3s are being played randomly from both the folders but the “folders” option which should be on the right top corner of my screen (according to the manual) is absent.
I would be really grateful if you could help me with this.

    Best regards,

    Chris

  4. Hi Chris,
Sorry you’re having trouble with this. We believe this may be due to the file structure on the USB stick. However, if the owner’s manual hasn’t helped, we suggest speaking with your Local Dealer who will be able to help you: http://ow.ly/eiPjh.
    Kind regards.

    1. Hello and thank you for your reply.

Apparently folder browsing from usb flash drives is only possible in Toyota Touch devices. The Toyota Touch and Go devices only allow folder browsing from cds, which personally makes no sense to me and i find it a real inconvenience having to scroll through all my mp3s in my usb drive in order to find the one i want to listen to.
I wanted to ask you if there is any possibility that this will be addressed in a future firmware update for the Toyota Touch and Go.

      Thanks again for your time.

      Regards,
      Chris

  5. Hello. My wife has just replaced her Verso with a new Yaris Hybrid. The USB stick she was using in the Verso does not play properly in the Yaris. It displays a “checking device” message for 10 minutes then plays but if you switch the ignition off, you have to wait another 10 minutes before it will play. This process repeats every time the car is stopped. Any ideas?

    1. Hi John,
Thanks for getting in touch. This may be due to the file formats or structure on the USB stick, we recommend checking the file compatibility with the owner’s manual. Otherwise, your Local Dealer will be able to help you, you can find their details here: http://ow.ly/ekXei.
      We hope this helps.

  6. My tomtom Sat Nav in my 2011 Yaris is stuck on incoming call, no matter what I do I can,t get rid of this
    Anyone any ideas

    Bill

    1. Hi Bill,
We’re sorry to hear about your Sat Nav system. We suggest speaking with your Local Dealer who will be able to review for you. You can find their details here: http://ow.ly/etq4x.
      We hope this helps.

  7. Hi Chris,
Thank you for getting back to us and we are sorry to hear of your inconvenience.
We have looked into your comments and the Toyota Touch & Go will only display individual folders if they are saved in an album format. Albums can be created on the USB, using the tools in a media player, by setting an album title for each track, the same as the folder they are in.
We have also communicated your feedback to our colleagues in Europe to consider folder visibility for future updates.
Many thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback.
    Kind regards.

  9. Hi Rob,
May we suggest that you visit your Local Centre as they’ll be able to go through the set-up process with you. If you have your navigation manual to hand you’ll find some pointers there. Here is the link to the Toyota website, http://ow.ly/eJbQL.
    Many thanks.

  10. Hi, I have a hilux invincible which touch and go. Everything is fine apart the text messaging. I can receive and view messages but when I try to send one via T&G it doesn’t happen. Not too much of a problem as recieving when driving is more important but it just bugs me knowing this. I have a Samsung s3 which I’d about up to date as phones get.
