Toyota Touch & Go helps you get to your destination with only the push of a couple of buttons. In this video we show you how to get the most out of your sat-nav.
Press MAP NAV
The blue arrow on the screen represents your Toyota and shows where it is on the map and which way it is facing.
To set your destination:
Press NAV
Select ENTER DESTINATION
Enter the destination’s street name or postcode
Press CALCULATE ROUTE
The system will give you the option to choose from three routes – FAST, SHORT or ECOLOGICAL.
You also have the option to avoid motorways, toll roads, tunnels or ferries/car trains when you select AVOID.
Point of Interest search
One of the Touch & Go’s most useful features is the Point of Interest search. Banks, restaurants, petrol stations, schools, museums, coffee shops – there are over six million to choose from.
Press ENTER DESTINATION
Press POI – Point of Interest
Select CATEGORY, NAME or MAP
Follow the on-screen instructions to navigate to your point of interest.

I have a 2021 corolla. Is it possible to identify a road as closed so the sat nav won’t send me along it?

Thanks for getting in touch, and for choosing the Corolla. The navigation system can display road closures and needs connecting to the internet to do this, usually via a mobile phone ‘hotspot’.

I have just got a 2021 Yaris Hybrid. Am using Apple Car Play (iPhone 7) as the sat nav but how do I keep the map surrounding the blue arrow i.e. me the driver in sync with same blue arrow? I just keep driving of the map.

During route guidance, the route can be changed to detour around a section of the route, such as smaller country roads if you are aware of any.

Is there no way to set a preference to stick to main roads without having to manually detour? We have had to ignore the sat nav directions a lot as it is clearly trying to try to take us down country lanes when we are driving but in areas we are not familiar with. We are now using Google maps in parallel as a sanity check

Hi, I have a RAV4 Excel 2020 model with Touch and Go. I’m trying to use GEO Coordinates to enter a destination (with various stopovers) but without success using the screen inside the car, such as 51.177028, -1.759072 but the screen does not allow me to enter these coordinates.
Otherwise is there a way to enter coordinates using the web page “Plan a Trip” and can you help me with the format please, I am getting the coordinates from Google Maps.
I have also looked at degrees rather than decimal but coordinates such as LAT N 51 10 37.301 and LONG w 1 45 32.659 does not work either. Any advice you can give me appreciated, Thank you.

I have a brand new Corolla. I went on the M25 today without route navigation turned on. All of a sudden on the right hand side of the navigation screen, in a black area, a list of motorway junctions and distances appeared. I could get rid of them by pressing an arrow on the screen, but what were they?
