Toyota Touch & Go – How to use sat-nav features

Toyota Touch & Go helps you get to your destination with only the push of a couple of buttons. In this video we show you how to get the most out of your sat-nav.

Press MAP NAV
The blue arrow on the screen represents your Toyota and shows where it is on the map and which way it is facing.

To set your destination:
Press NAV
Select ENTER DESTINATION
Enter the destination’s street name or postcode
Press CALCULATE ROUTE
The system will give you the option to choose from three routes – FAST, SHORT or ECOLOGICAL.
You also have the option to avoid motorways, toll roads, tunnels or ferries/car trains when you select AVOID.

Point of Interest search
One of the Touch & Go’s most useful features is the Point of Interest search. Banks, restaurants, petrol stations, schools, museums, coffee shops – there are over six million to choose from.

Press ENTER DESTINATION
Press POI – Point of Interest
Select CATEGORY, NAME or MAP

  2. Hi there, can you help – whenever I use the Sat Nav in my Toyota CHR, when it gives me the 3 route options (fast, short and Eco) it picks one on its own after only 2 or 3 seconds if I haven’t selected one myself, which often does not give me time to look at the options so I can pick the one I want myself. I then have to re input the destination and hope the next time it comes up, the 2 or 3 seconds is long enough for me to look again and try to pick one. Very annoying. Is there a way to stop this so I have time to look at options and select the one I want?

  3. Hi. I have this Toyota Hilux Invincible which I imported from UK to Kenya. The Touch and Go system is superb and works well except the Nav mode. Was wondering if you could assist me to activate the Nav mode. Thanks.

  4. Is it possible to search for a POI, specifically a golf club by name. A present all I seem to able to do is access POI/Golf clubs and I am offered clubs based on nearest geographical position from my location.
I would like to search for clubs that are further away.
    Is this possible?

  6. Hi
I tapped into my sat nav my destination, it gave me two options to choose from, I also knew a 3rd option which I only sort of knew to a certain extent, had faith that my sat nav would recalculate the route and knew this route would eventually join me to the end of where one of the routes was talking me, (wanting to avoid a M road and a major A road oh and the massive roundabouts as you come off of these routes), journey there went like a dream. coming back was a bit of a nightmare, simply because again it only gave me the two options but not the option I took going there, is there a way i can get it to remember the route I had taken so it would reverse it for me to go back on,

  7. When I try and use the maps via wireless just get a message that Software Not Supported on this version or similar to that effect. If I connect via USB lead, Google Maps work.

Is this a design feature of lower end models, a software glitch or just the fact I have an older phone? Android Auto is installed and the green indicator on the interior light cluster shows the connection is good and the Toyota App is recording my journeys etc.
