  1. Hi i am having problem with accessing my phonebook on toyota touch and go . I have the samsung s7 edge. I have tried to refresh the phonebook but im having no luck even though it comes out saying contacts have been refreshed. Pls can you help?

    1. Hi there,
Firstly, we would recommend un-pairing your device, forgetting the Touch system from your Bluetooth connections on your phone. Try reconnecting and pairing your device to the system.

  2. Hi – I can receive notifications on my phone that a call is coming in but can’t hear anything when I answer. When I transfer to the handset it’s fine. New iPhone 6. Any ideas?

    1. Hi Steve,
Thanks for getting in touch. We’d advise repairing your device again. Remove the pairings from the iPhone and multimedia system, switch off the iPhone for a couple of minutes. Attempt to pair again and it should be okay. It would also be recommend trying another smartphone on the car to see if the hands-free is functioning well.
      Hope this helps.

  3. Hi, I have a Toyota Aygo X-Play and I am trying to add contacts from my Iphone 8. I had them all in through my old Iphone but I cannot seem to find how to transfer them again. I deleted the old phone from the system and have tried disconnecting and reconnecting. Do you have any suggestions as to how this is to be done? I am trying using settings – Tel – Add contacts but all that shows is waiting and after several minutes nothing happens. Thanks

    1. Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch. We’d advise you to attempt to reconnect your device by remove the pairings, switch off the device for a couple of minutes then switch on the device and attempting pairing the device again and allow the device to load completely when pairing up. If you have further questions please contact our Multimedia team at this address: multimedia@toyota.co.uk. Many thanks.

  4. I have paired my iPhone 6 to my new 2019 Aygo
When I have an incoming call the name is not displayed, the display reads unknown instead of the name I have tried unpairing and repairing but still the same ?

    1. Hi Mal,

      Thanks for your comment.

Try editing the contact’s number in your phone to start with +44 rather than 0. If that doesn’t work, please contact our multimedia support team on 0344 701 6202 for further assistance.

      Thanks

  6. Hello,
I have encountered an issue with my toyota touch 2 with Go (avensis 2018), my phone is paired with the system. Currently I receive text messages as normal, no issues on toyota touch 2 with Go. But when I receive or make calls, the calls connects, but I cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear me. Also when dialling a number the screen displays a connecting message (no dialling message) without any dial tone. I have checked the phone volume incoming and outgoing settings and they are ok, I have unpaired and re paired the phone again. It did work fine previously without any problems.

    1. Hi Kieran,

  9. Just bought a used 2017 Auris Hybrid through a dealer. I have connected my phone but only get music through it, no calls. And when trying to access the phone book it says “I’m refreshing..” and “Updating phone book”. For HOURS. (4 hours so far)
I have tried EVERYTHING, reset personal data, unpaired, booted both devices, re-paired, everything is allowed on the phone… you name it, I’ve tried it.
I also can not access the internet through the car’s headunit, says Connection failed.
