  1. I have a New Auris hybrid with Touch 2 and Go, when I receive an incoming call the phone number is displayed and not the name, if I look in the phone-book in contacts on the Touch the contact is there, my Phone is an Iphone 5S

  2. Hi Jim
    Thanks for your post.
We have run your query past our technical team and they suggested you check whether the number is saved twice on your phone under different contact names, or whether the number is saved as +44 and call is coming in as an 07 / 01 / 08. (The car does not convert the number format). Hope this helps and let us know how you get on.

    1. Hi David no the number is only in the iPhone once and does not have a +44 it starts with 07706, any idea. Jim

      1. Hello Jim
        Thanks for your reply.
We will be testing this later today but can we ask you to check your Bluetooth setting on your phone and see if your “show notifications” and “synch contacts” buttons are switched on? We will reply again tomorrow after we test this. Hope this helps.

  3. David any news ? If I use the store function on the touch it works okay but any incoming calls not stored only show as the number and not the name ?

    1. Hello Jim
Sorry for the delay but should be able to update first thing in the morning about this.

    2. Hi Jim
Further to the testing we undertook, can we check which version iOS you have on your phone? The second was whether you have recently updated your contacts in the car or un-paired and re-paired the phone?

  4. I have paired my I phone 5s It allows me to see call list but will not display my phone book. The names are there in the background barely visible but do not respond. If I push the info button it tells me the name of the person but still no access to call. Please help. Thanks

    1. Hi Gail, Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Have you tried un-pairing the device and re-pairing it. Alternatively, it could be the number of contacts stored – roughly how many do you have on your phone? Thanks.

    1. Hi Alex,
Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear your comments, please could you clarify the problem you are experiencing and I shall run this past our technical team for you.

  5. why does the phone book only display surnames first – why isn’t there an option to display as per the phone

  6. Hi Andy,
Thank you for your post. We have spoken with our technical team and unfortunately they have advised that that this cannot be changed as this is the functionality. Hope this helps a little further and if you have any more questions please let us know.

  7. Hi,

I have the Toyota Touch in a ’13 GT86, and neither of my handsets display the caller ID on incoming calls. Phone Log, Music and Phone book all work, just no ID when I receive a call. One is a Microsoft Lumia 950 and the other a Sony Z5.

Any ideas as this did work at one stage.

    Regards,

      1. Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to us. We would have to advise going to your local dealer as they will be able to diagnose the problem!

  8. Hi,

We are trying to setup a phone to the touch and go but we cannot seem to get the phonebook on the system. It says, downloading phonebook but when it is ready there are no names or numbers in the T&G?
It’s an android Motorola Moto G.
It did work untill a few days ago but now I cannot get it to download the numbers (exchange account?)

    1. I’ve got a Moto E 3rd generation. When I try to pair phone with Toyota Yaris 16 plate it gives me text messages but not contacts. Can anyone tell me how to fix? Have been in to dealership but they couldn’t sort. Thanks

      1. Ella, thanks for reply. I checked and Moto E is recognised because the phone I have now is just the newer model of previous version that synched. Could it have anything to do with fact that it is a new model of phone?

      2. Hare you any further forward in getting a response from the technical department? Last contact was 8 December. Thanks.

      3. Hi Alice,
Our technical department have advised that this may be the issue. The touch system may not be compatible with the newer model. We can however suggest that this may be solved in the next update from the Touch systems.

      4. Thanks for that Ella but any idea when that will be and whether that will help me?

      5. Hi Alice,
Unfortunately, we do not have access to what will be in the update prior to release. Once the update has been released we can let you know what has been fixed/developed. Usually, updates come twice a year (spring & autumn). Many thanks!

  9. Hi Alice,
We’re in talks with our technical department and will get back to you as soon as we hear anything. Thanks for your patience.
