The price and specification details for the new 2015 Toyota Auris have been revealed. The car adopts a new grade structure aimed at meeting the requirements of both private and business customers. For the first time, a hybrid option is available on all grades.
2015 Toyota Auris specifications
The established Active, Icon and Excel grades mark the entry level, mid-point and top of the range respectively. But these are now joined by new Business Edition and Design versions at the heart of the line-up. Across the board, specifications secure high levels of safety, comfort and convenience, not least with the option to include Toyota Safety Sense integrated active safety features on most models.
Customers can choose from ten colours, with the metallic options including new Denim Blue and Orion Blue shades.

2015 Toyota Auris options
The Toyota Safety Sense package (Pre-Crash System, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Automatic High Beam, Lane Departure Warning and Road Sign Assist) is available on all models except Active grade. The Toyota Touch 2 system can be upgraded to ‘with Go’ specification on Icon and Design models, and the ‘with Go Plus’ functionality can be added to the system on Icon and Design models.
Options further extend to a Chrome Pack (all models), Protection Pack (all models), Parking Pack (front and rear parking sensors for Icon, Business Edition and Design) and a range of rear entertainment DVD player/iPad mounting systems (all models).
Hi Soumendra, that is great news. Do you have the car booked for a long time or just borrowing? Auris Touring Sports Hybrid Business doesn’t have a CD player but it has an impressive multimedia system with bluetooth connectivity and a DAB radio as well as a USB connection so you can load your music this way. Yes its for long term use. Its sad that this car doesn’t have a CD player option. But I am looking forward to driving this hybrid car. I think it looks stunning compared to any hybrid car in the market at present.

I have on order Auris 1.2t Excel Touring sports will Apple Play work with the fitted audio system

Thank you for your post. Great to hear about your new Auris 1.2t. After speaking with the product team we can confirm that Apple Car Play is not incorporated in any of our models yet. However we have passed your feedback on to our product team so they can consider this option for the future.
I’ve noticed on a previous blog post that it mentions the excel comes with either 16 or 17 inch wheels however the brouchers only says 17 inch wheels are available. Is it possible to get a excel with 15 inch wheels instead of the 17 inch that come as standard? I’m not keen on the 17 inch and would like the more economical 15 inch ones.

Thank you for your post. We have double checked with our product team and they confirmed that the Auris Excel only comes with the option of a 17 inch wheel. Due to the vehicle specification they did not recommend fitting a smaller wheel to this grade of Auris. Hope this helps clarify any other queries please let us know.
That’s funny, my ordered excel hybrid is with 16 inch. Would have also referred 15’s though

Thank you for your post. We have passed this through our technical team and they have advised that the Excel only come with 17″ wheels from factory fit. There is the opportunity to select an accessory wheel in 15″ or 16″ however that would come at an additional cost. Hope this helps clarify. If you have any other question please let us know.
Does the 2015 Auris retain the very useful lower shelf in the boot now that it has a space saver spare wheel?
