    1. Hello Mildred, thanks for your message. Are you near to a Toyota dealer? They will be able to install the correct software to your Yaris. Please let us know if there are any other things we can help with today.

  1. How much does it cost to install the correct software in the UK, do you know if we can send routes to the car without sat Nav being installed?

    1. Morning James. Which Toyota model and year is your car? With this information we can ask for specific technical advice and any costs if you don’t have Nav installed. Thanks.

  2. Hi I have the latest 2014 aygo with the navi system and I can’t seem to get it to change to from kilometers to miles?

    Many thanks Emma

  3. Hi Emma
Thank you for your post. We have passed this over to our technical team and will get back to you with an answer shortly.

  4. Hi Emma,
Thank you for being so patient. We have checked with our technical team and this can be changed. Firstly go to your navigation page, then the User settings menu and select units. Here you will be able to switch from metrical to imperial system. Hope this helps clarify but if you have any other questions please let us know.

  5. Hi I just thought I’d share this for anyone having the same issue. My satnav on my Auris lost the volume and I spent ages trying to find how to restore it so I could hear what the navigator was saying. Eventually I rang my dealer and asked them and their advice was… “what you need to do is wait until she’s giving a direction and then use the volume control”. When I pointed out that I didn’t know when she was giving a direction, as I couldn’t hear anything, the dealer advised me to give it a try. So having spent a journey watching the satnav and trying to work out when she was about to speak, and failing to get the volume back, I gave up and did a web search, which led me here. Eventually I saw the post regarding the setup button and the general setting, so I tried it and lo and behold there was the navigation volume control, and guess what… It worked. So a couple of points, firstly you need to advise your dealer staff better and secondly it would be very handy to have “navigation volume adjustment” in the manual index, because I looked in both manuals and couldn’t find it. Thanks 😀😀

    1. thank you for that Jamie ive lost my sound will have a look at that now, I haven’t even got a handbook, not a chance of finding anything on their website, I want a handbook

    2. Really helpful hint. Thanks Jamie. I pressed the Nav button twice to get the speaker icon, clicked that then pressed the + button and hey presto could hear the voice 🙂

  6. HI,I am not able to enter the full postcode and it is slowly becoming not useable. Just using my phoe for my navigation. You just cannot enter SG1 1BE. Max you can enter is SG1 1. then you just have to choose from the 3 options and they are not the ones i need. Can you please check this?

      1. Hi, Is this a software issue?
Can i just walk in or need to book a appointment to visit the dealer?

      2. Hi there,
Thank you for your quick reply. We would advise booking an appointment beforehand. Many thanks.

  7. Hi,

I have just bought an Auris, 2012 plate, which has a touch and go screen for the rear camera but the Sat Nav does not work. How do I install the software for the Sat Nav? Is there software that can perhaps activate the voice recognition button also?

    Many thanks

  8. Hi there,
Thank your for your post. We would advise visiting your local Toyota Dealer where sat nav can be installed into your vehicle. In order to activate the voice recognition button Touch & Go Plus will need to be installed by your local dealer. Your local Toyota Dealer can be found here: https://www.toyota.co.uk/world-of-toyota/find-your-dealer.json. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please let us know.

  9. please advise if the following can be dealt with by any setting. when the car is in reverse and the screen displaying the rear view any incoming call on the mobile set up with bluetooth will switch the screen from the rear display to the phone screen asking if i want to accept call or not. i find this very dangerous.
