  1. IVe a Toyota Auris HSD 2010 model where I paid £1000 for the SatNav with Bluetooth. I have recently got a new phone and MUST have this B/T function working as I make most my calls in the car.
The phone is the Samsung Galaxy s3 mini.
IS this phone compatable as there are many issues with the connection, it does not seem to auto connect. It connects once but when I turn the engine off it then does not connect again.
    Thanks.

  2. Hi Robert,
Pleased to hear about your Auris Hybrid, we hope you’re enjoying your Toyota!
You can check mobile phone compatibility with your satellite navigation system here: http://ow.ly/iyNHT.
We suggest speaking with your local Dealer who’ll be able to review the issue you are having and so help further. You can find their details here: http://ow.ly/iyNTM.
Thanks for your message and we hope this helps.

i want to play my ipod on this system, i have an old classic gb.
will i be able to play it in the car?

    1. Hi Mick,
Exciting news about your new Toyota arriving in April!
Yes the iPod Classic is listed as a compatible device with the Touch and Go system.
If there’s anything further we can help with, please let us know.
      Thanks.

      1. Thanks for your answer.
What I missed typing in my original question:-
my classic ipod is the 30gb which is about seven years old.
Will I still be able to use it on Touch & Go,

        Thanks

    1. Hi Pearl,
Unfortunately, a Mac Version of the toolbox for Touch and Go isn’t available. We have passed on your comments to our Product Development colleagues for future consideration.
We hope you’re enjoying your new Yaris Hybrid.

  4. Hi Mick,
You should be able to plug your iPod in using an AUX cable, if you’ve one in your car. We’ve spoken with the technical team and they believe it’ll work too. You’ll have to give it a try!
    Many thanks.

  5. I tried to update the touch and go systems on my wife’s yaris and my new rav 4. Connected usb sticks took footprints loaded onto toolbox (separately of course). Toolbox found important updates which I downloaded but when I connected back to cars although system identified new updates on usbs an error message stated no new update found. Please advise thanks

    1. Hi Doug,
We’re sorry for the confusion here and thank you for raising this with us.
You will first need to register on the customer portal (www.my.toyota.eu). You can then purchase the MAP update from this site to download to your toolbox. The update referenced on the toolbox is for installation software, which needs to be downloaded to the USB drive in order to carry out any updates and so not an update required for the Touch and Go system.
      We hope this helps.

  6. Hi
If I plug a USB stick with mp3’s on it into the Touch system in my 2013 Auris I am only able to navigate via folders, not via artists or albums.
The folder structure is Artist > Album and the displayed folders are the Album ones, not even the Artists, so it’s pretty much useless as I have very many albums on there.
Is there any reason that this simple functionality doesn’t work as would be expected?
    Thanks
    Ross

    1. Hi Ross,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
The Touch system will not be able to order music which is in separate folders, if the individual tracks on an album are linked by artist and album name it will however show as an album on the system (most original albums will be). These track can then be put directly onto a USB stick (not in a folder) and this should allow you to navigate by artist.
If they are part of a ‘playlist’ and not a complete album, then they will need to be linked by changing the album name in the ‘Codec details’, this can be done using a media player.
We hope this helps. If you would like this explained in more detail, your dealer will be able to talk you through this or demonstrate for you. Their details can be found here: http://ow.ly/jkkga.
We are sorry you have found this more complicated than expected, we will be sure to feed this back for future consideration. We hope you are otherwise enjoying your new Auris.
      Best wishes.

  7. I’ve recently purchased a GT86, which i am loving! However, when my phone (iphone 4) is connected via bluetooth, I cannot browse my music – I only have the option to go back or forward a track. I have seen on the video tutorials that it is possible to view the track list, although I am not able to access this…please help!

    Thanks
    Jacob

    1. Hi Jacob,
Great news about your GT86, we’re so pleased you’re enjoying it!
To be able to listen to music with a track list, you will need to plug in your phone via the USB lead.
      We hope this helps.

  8. Hi Amy,

Thanks for your reply. So are you saying I am not able to view the track list when connected via Bluetooth? This seems like a bit of a poor feature do you not agree?!

    Jacob
