Toyota Touch & Go helps you get to your destination with only the push of a couple of buttons. In this video we show you how to get the most out of your sat-nav.

The blue arrow on the screen represents your Toyota and shows where it is on the map and which way it is facing.

To set your destination:

You also have the option to avoid motorways, toll roads, tunnels or ferries/car trains when you select AVOID.

Point of Interest search
One of the Touch & Go’s most useful features is the Point of Interest search. Banks, restaurants, petrol stations, schools, museums, coffee shops – there are over six million to choose from.

  1. Is there a way of changing speed warning from 5km to 0 , so that when you are at the speed limit It will warn if over, my previous car warned when over by 3%.

  2. I own an Auris 2013 model and whenever I get to a roundabout using the sat nav the map stops moving and all I see is my car travelling around it, sometimes when the roundabout is large my car disappears off of the screen, if I go all of the way around it my car is travelling towards me on the screen, when I take a road off of it the display reverts back to it working normally, how can I stop this as quite frankly it’s completely useless

  3. Hi – I have a 2013 Auris Hybrid, normally the roads scroll and the car is fixed on the display when I use sat nav, however when I get to a roundabout the road is fixed and the car moves around it, if the roundabout is large the car disappears off of the screen. How do I change it so the road scrolls when I go round a roundabout as it’s impossible to use as it is, thanks.

    1. Hello David
We have seen your two posts in relation to your satnav operation and have run them past our technical team.
They have suggested that on the map screen select “options” then “map settings” then “touch “Automatic map zoom” to set this function to on.
The map screen will then zoom in at the junctions. If however this option is not available then you may need to update your map/software and your local Toyota dealer can help organise this for you.
      Hope this helps.

  4. I have a 2014 Auris Icon Plus and the satnav is driving me around the bend. When I start to enter a few letters of an address the satnav will enter a address not wanted by me and not stored by me.How do I stop this infuriating nuisance?.

  5. Hello William
    Thanks for your post.
Sorry to hear about this and we have run this past our technical team for you. They have confirmed that the system will use predictive text if for example you enter the town and then go to enter the street name. They have advised that the safest way to avoid this would be to enter the postcode (if known of course) as this would prevent this issue from occurring.
Hope this helps but let us know if you have any other questions.

  6. Thanks for the reply, I have done what you said but the same thing happens other than the display zooms in on the roundabout, so I’m still left with a sat-nav that’s unusable at roundabouts. Any other suggestions?

  7. Is it possible to brighten the screen on the touch & go system when driving at night?
    I have a 6 month old Yaris!

    1. Hello Mrs Moore
      Thanks for your post.
It is possible to adjust the contrast on the screen and you just need to access the screen settings. Press the Setup button on your unit and then press the Display button in the top. You will then see buttons to adjust the contrast and brightness.
Hope this helps but let us know if you have any problems.

  8. I have a Verso trend and the satnav is driving me nuts.I want to enter a street Richmond Avenue in Lisburn with a postcode od BT28 2DL.I only get as far as BT28 2 and it gets predictive and I can get neither the full postcode nor the street name.Help, please?
