Toyota Touch 2: How to set up an online account

To take full advantage of all the great features that Toyota Touch 2 with Go and Touch 2 with Go plus have to offer, you’ll need to get set up and account at the MyToyota customer portal.

The following video gives a brief overview of MyToyota, how to register, and the benefits of doing so. Alternatively, you can follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Just type in the URL – www.toyota.co.uk/mytoyota – and you’re ready to get started.

Click on ‘Sign In’ and you’ll be taken to the sign in page.

Existing members can enter their email address and password, before clicking the ‘Sign In’ button, but new users can register by clicking the ‘Need to Sign Up?’ link and completing a simple form. Accept the terms and conditions and click ‘Sign Up’.

We’ll send you an email with an activation link, just to be sure we have your correct details. Click on the link and your account is verified, meaning you can log in to MyToyota directly in the future.

To get the most out of MyToyota and your Touch 2 system, you’ll need to tell us about your vehicle. Once logged in, select ‘My Vehicle’ from the menu bar at the top and add your Toyota’s registration number. It will find your vehicle, and you can add a name for the car – handy if there’s more than one Toyota in the household!

The next time you’re in your car, simply enter your log in details into your Toyota Touch 2 with Go device, and when you return to MyToyota the full range of online services will be available to you. This includes apps preloaded onto your Touch 2 with Go device, and those available in our e-Store, plus a whole host of connected services such as online search, Google Street View and Panoramio.

  1. Bluetooth works ok. Unable to use paid for apps as the following keeps coming up when attempting to use them. ‘service provider unavailable. please check your internet connection’. Car is 2014 Avensis BE. Phone is iPhone 6. Not happy.

  2. Hi Mark,
Thank you for your post. We have spoken with our technical department and they have asked if your vehicle has been registered to connected services and have you completed a portal account? If so they have advised you need to turn on your personnel hotspot on your phone and this should enable your apps to work. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please let us know.

      1. Hi
Can you let me know how you did this in the settings, I have an i phone 6s and can not get the internet to work for E-Mails, the screen just says my phone is not set up to use E-Mails and it deffinalty is..

  3. Hello,
I have a Toyota Verso Design with Touch 2 with Go which I have had since June.
I am having trouble getting some of the apps to work such as the weather, fuel and parking apps. They never display anything.
I have paired my phone ok for Bluetooth and it is setup for Internet access, the globe symbol shows in the connection status. Other apps like Google streetview work fine so I know that the online link is established. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5 on VirginMobile.
The only thing I could add is the user account. I cannot log in to the either the web portal or the car using my user id. I can log in fine using my asscociated email address.
Your feedback to get this sorted would be appreciated.

    1. Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the post. We would advise checking that your specific model of phone is compatible with our Toyota multimedia system. If it is and you are still having problems we would suggest contacting your local dealer where they can assist in helping solve this problem- they may need to make sure Bluetooth tethering is on. Many thanks.

  4. Bought a brand new RAV4, however none of the internet apps work…system says internet is connected via phone, but when I try and select any app, it says service provider unavailable… This is unacceptable…
