Six months of free fuel with new Toyota Aygo, Yaris, Auris, Auris Hybrid and Verso

Toyota UK Free Fuel offer

Rising prices at the pumps need not concern new Toyota owners, thanks to a summer-long free fuel bonus. Building on the free fuel offer launched earlier this year, now anyone buying a new Aygo, Yaris, Auris, Auris Hybrid or Verso can enjoy six months of driving with Toyota footing the fuel bill.

Each new car will be sold with a pre-loaded Visa card covering the cost of 5,000 miles of motoring – about the distance covered on average in six months of driving.

According to the model purchased, the equivalent saving is up to £645, calculated using a benchmark combined cycle fuel consumption figure and pence-per-litre fuel price. Owners simply use the card to pay for each fill-up until all the credit has been used.

The offer applies to all versions of each model purchased between 1 June and 30 September and registered before 31 December.

Free fuel is just part of the tremendous value package available on new Toyota cars this summer. Customers can also qualify for two years’ free servicing when financing their new car through Access Toyota and further savings are on offer in a range of current feature models: the new Aygo Go!, Yaris T Spirit and Auris Edition all deliver a high specification at a high value price.

Lasting cost of ownership benefits are also guaranteed thanks to the low emissions and high fuel efficiency delivered by Toyota Optimal Drive petrol and diesel powertrains, and by our world-leading Hybrid Synergy Drive full hybrid system. Don’t forget that all new Toyota cars come with a 5 year/100,000-mile Toyota warranty as standard, too.

  1. My husband and I purchased a Toyota Aygo Ice registered number mj11 kjo on 7th June this year from RRG Toyota, Salford Quays,We were not aware of the offer re free petrol The vehicle was registered on 31st May as we came in to order it a few days before, We were told the car would be delivered on 7th June which is when we took possession. I believe we qualify for the offer but were not informed and wish this to be rectified. Please .We look forward to a quick reply to address this issue. We have also intimated to RRG that we are considering buying a Yaris later in the year and things like this can sway that decision thankyou.

  2. Hello Mrs. Allerston,

Our six months’ free fuel offer on Aygo is available on new cars ordered from 1 June until 30 September and registered by 31 December 2011. Unfortunately your car falls outside of this timeframe and therefore is not eligible for this offer, however you would have benefited from our previous customer offer for Aygo.

Any new Yaris ordered from now until the end of September will qualify for the six months’ free fuel offer. Thank you for your question.

  3. Hi I have got my pre paid visa can I use it on other items apart from fuel as it has a chip number thanks

  4. I bought a Toyota Aygo from Toyota World which I collected on 30th September 2011. As part of the sales pitch put to me the 6 months free fuel offer was included. In fact I also recall all of the advertising posters/banners in the Bristol branch still advertising the offer when I signed the paperwork. On the day I collect my new car I asked about the pre-paid fuel card and was told that it should arrive in about a weeks time. I waited 2 weeks and no card arrived. I phoned the branch only to be told that the card had to come direct from Toyota and that it could take up to a month. So being the patient type I waited until the 10th November and still not card had arrived. I phoned again today to be told that the offer ended before the end of September!

In fairness to ToyotaWorld they have stated that they have a record of the offer I was given and that they will rectify the mistake by arranging for a £500 cheque to be sent to me.

I am just a little sad that the advertising and verbal offer indicated that I would be entitled to the offer but that it turns out I will not have the prepaid card which would probably make me spend that money only on fuel for my car rather than it disappearing in to my bank account.

  5. Hi Steve,

We are sorry to hear about the misunderstanding and hope you are happy with the arrangements Toyota World have made for you. We will follow this matter up with your Centre to try to understand how it happened. Thank you for your comments.
