What about former Toyota centres?

Occasionally, it may be necessary for existing Toyota centres to move premises or even cease trading. In such rare circumstances, Toyota would like to reassure you that provisions will have already been made so that customers experience minimal disruption to our award-winning service.

Customers with vehicles on order will have their delivery and handover arranged either through another branch within the same dealer group, or at an alternative Toyota centre. If a customer purchased a service plan with a group that has subsequently ceased trading for Toyota, this arrangement will continue to be honoured within the same dealer group. Those who purchase national service plans from Toyota are able to transfer them across dealer groups.

  1. My Toyota is coming up to service time, I live in Aberdeen and my nearest dealership is now 70miles what are my options.

    Thanks D Munro.

    1. Hi Douglas,

Park’s in Aberdeen have taken on the Toyota franchise, and should be able to service your vehicle.

You can reach their servicing department on 01224 348931.

      Thanks

    1. Hi Elizabeth,
      Thanks for your comment.
You can to place an order for any new Toyota at any Toyota Centre.
      Thanks.

  2. Folks – my wife ordered a new Yaris from Arnold Clark for delivery in July/Aug. Then it was rescheduled to Dec. Today she received a call from Arnold Clark say her order was cancelled by Toyota as they are losing your franchise. Is this your “award winning customer service@?! Can you sort this out, she still wants the car (but clearly in a reasonable delivery time). Thanks

  3. Hi, As Arnold Clark is not your franchise any longer, there are only a handful of services in Scotland, which means they can be quite far away. Do you plan to establish more service places in Scotland, since driving more than 80mi (return, just for a service) does not seem to be realistic, especially considering prices of petrol. Not to mention that 30-40mi for a faulty car is not good either. Thanks.

    1. Hi,
      Thanks for your commment.

    2. I have the exact same problem. As Arnold Clark had the only dealership in the north of Glasgow and now no longer Toyota meant my options were Darnley Falkirk or Stirling. As I live in Kirkintilloch, this is totally unrealistic and unacceptable.
I contacted customer service and their response was as unacceptable as the decision to close the only dealership in the north Glasgow area.
If II was aware that Toyota were going to have no facilities in my area, I wouldn’t have bought their brand,
      and still considering my options.

      1. Completely agreee. This decision to abondon you customers is beyond beleif. A year and a half on, no improvements, so do not know what to say…just to ask if this is a plan to withdraw from Scottish market?

      2. Hi, thanks for your comment.

We apologise for the inconvenience and understand your frustration.

This is currently all the information we have on this.

        Thanks.

  4. I was keen to buy a Yaris Cross but as I live in Ayrshire, Scotland and the nearest dealership is 40 miles away meaning any trip for servicing or repairs would mean a round trip of approx 90 miles. This means that I reluctantly have had to choose another manufacturer. I think Toyota have scored a spectacular own goal by closing so many “local” dealerships.

  5. I have been looking at Toyota cross for a while but with no local dealer except a portacabin at Parks, will have to forget that.

  6. I currently have a 68 proace verso with an adblue emissions error. 500 miles before vehicle will not start. I live just outside Ayr. My nearest Dealer is in Glasgow. They can book it in for end of May. They offered me a dealer in Hamilton who can book me in for 22nd Feb. I know have no option but to park the car on my drive for the next month. They also said they need to investigate if it’s covered by warranty. No other alternatives given. Paying large monthly payments for something I can’t use. When does the customer care kick in?

  7. The Jim’s Garage postcode and phone number are wrong. Postcode is ZE1 0PX and phone number is 01595 695202.

  8. was thinking of buying a new toyota for a change as ive had a load of hyundai car but with no dealer in ayrshire as i live in girvan dont think i will bother
