Hi, I have a 2018 Toyota Auris Hybrid and the DAB is receeption is appaulling, my previous car’s reception was far superior in this regard. I have tried re-scanning to no avail. As this is a lease car obviously reluctant to do any remedial work on it. Is there anything I can easily try?

I would say don’t bother speaking to your dealer as Toyota will advise here.
You can probably get a Kenwood or Pioneer system in for the crazy price they will charger you to add module to your standard system.
In UK shop like Halfords could do it for cheaper. In Europe could probably get an alternative Android Radio system perhaps.
Toyota do good cars, but their radio system crap on older models.

I’ve got a 68 plate CHR and the DAB reception is the worst.. I live in Norwich so thought it might be the area.. My missus has an Astra and the DAB in that is substantially better.

Hi I have a 59 plate hiace van, i had bluetooth added from new. The module packed up and ive been told by my dealer its not available, i have probably spent around a £18o on those motorola blue boxes, the correct number is PZ409-0029A-D1, i know this is the problem as one of the mechanics gave me one but it was from an AYGO, an early one, it does work with my phone, sort of, as long as I DON’T TOUCH anything and just shout YES YES YES as i’m driving! then it will accept the call also when call ends don’t touch again or it all goes dead until you switch the ign off. leave it for a minute, the turn ign back on and it reboots, Is there an upgrade to the old analogue radio i have fitted? it used to play music off my Iphone which was great but not any more
