DUB magazine builds stunning modified Yaris

US motoring publication DUB magazine has created this striking DUB Edition Yaris for the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. The sensational one-off model will be on display inside the Toyota booth between November 4-7.

The outrageous car sports a bespoke widebody, and is wrapped in a striking two-tone white and black paint finish. Astonishingly, it rides on 20-inch, 10-spoke, gloss black concave alloy wheels.

DUB magazine founder, Myles Kovacs, explained his team’s mod choices: “We wanted the car to be wider, sleeker and lower, yet modest enough to look as if it had rolled out of the factory this way”..

Inside, the DUB Edition is equally wild. Dramatic leather Sparco racing seats feature three-point harnesses, while the centre console has carbon fibre accents. Hinting at the model’s track-orientated driving experience is a custom pearl white roll bar; ultra-suede headlining adds a dose of luxury.

Fans of the cult TV show ‘Pimp My Ride’ will be pleased to know that the model isn’t short of ICE either. The Yaris packs in three amps, six speakers, a custom fiberglass enclosure and an iPad to control the system.

Under the skin? Well, it’s almost business as usual, save for lowered suspension, StopTech rotors, and a Toyota Racing Development Big Brake Kit. Check out a video of the car below.
