Why the 2018 Toyota Aygo is perfect for millennials

We have put together our favourite five reasons why millennials should consider buying the new 2018 Toyota Aygo.

1. Colour

The new 2018 Toyota Aygo is offered in five new grades, which will appeal to a wide range of customers. Among these there is the option of a distinctive bi-tone paint scheme – black with a silver roof, blue with a black roof, or silver with a black roof – and striking exterior features, including a full roof decal and coloured accents across the bodywork.

Most striking of all is the x-cite grade, which stands out from the rest of the range with its Magenta Fizz bi-tone paint finish and coordinated interior complete with magenta stitching, body-colour inserts and piano black surrounds.

2. Connectivity

The new Aygo introduces Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity via a new smartphone integration system powered by Pioneer. Phone, message, navigation and music apps are mirrored on the touchscreen, while Apple Siri and Google Voice Command provide safe, hands-free operation. In addition, DAB is standard on all multimedia systems.

3. Running costs

The new Aygo maintains its position as the best in class for fuel efficiency and emissions, with numerous design and engineering measures introduced to reduce CO2 output by 5g/km. These measures mean the car is not only kinder on the environment but also on your pocket, saving you money by using even less fuel.

With a starting price of £9,695 on the road, we believe Aygo is one of the cheapest and the most environmentally friendly options on the market.

4. Proportions

Perfectly sized for the city and beyond, Aygo can squeeze into unfeasibly small parking spaces – a feat made less daunting with the assistance of a rear-view camera fitted as standard across all models. Yet it also offers a generous amount of room for four people and their luggage.

Diminutive size contributes to Aygo’s manoeuvrability, while improved engine response and smoother running allows you to enjoy every journey, even the urban crawl.

5. Customisation

The new Aygo expresses its go your own way attitude with a range of unique features and customisation options. Each grade offers its own wheel designs and some grades can be specified with a large, power-operated canvas roof. Accessory packs are available to protect and enhance the bodywork and interior.

  1. Please please please, bring Apple Car Play to the rest of the Toyota/Lexus line up. It’s such a gap right now. Plus, you probably want to be able to upsell those well connected millennials in the future.

      Thanks for getting in touch.
We cannot comment on product developments but we will definitely send your comments onto our Product team.
      Thanks.

      1. Why have they stopped making the x-play in 3 door? Small cars look much better in 3 door.

      2. Hi Tony,
        Thanks for getting in touch.
Unfortunately sales volumes of the 3-door model were low and it therefore did not make sense to offer them any more.
        Thanks.
