10 reasons why the 2017 Toyota Yaris is the best yet

The new 2017 Toyota Yaris builds on the success of our acclaimed supermini, which last year secured over 208,000 sales and more than 6.5% market share in Western Europe. This marked a new highpoint in the model’s three-generation history.

The £76 million Europe-led development project sees the introduction of more than 900 new parts – changes that will be adopted globally for the first time. What are some of these changes? Highlighting just 10 of these will help you understand why we think the 2017 Toyota Yaris is the best yet.

  1. Will this model still have the ventilated glovebox as in the 2011 model? I got caught out buying an Auris in 2014, assuming it would have one. I will not get caught out again by lack of what is for me a vital feature.

I gather the SatNav has been brought up to date at last – it was a major deficiency, telling one to turn just as a junction had happened!!

  2. Why doesn’t The Yaris have LED DRL’s on all grades? I want a Yaris with LED DRL’s with a bi-tone colour but sadly this option is not available but this option looks best in all the Yaris grades.

    1. Hi Ali,

Thanks for getting in touch and it’s great to hear you’re considering a new Yaris. Each grade comes with a variety of different options and currently LED Day Time Running Lights are only available on our Excel grade. Our other grades, depending on choice of hybrid or conventional engine, are available with either Reflector headlights with bulb DRL or Projector headlights with bulb DRL.

      Thanks.

  3. Hi, I have bought Toyota Yaris hybrid 2017 recently, Does is compatible with apple car play?. And also when I want to use the navigation it says the navigation not available on this system.
    Many thanks
