Hello I have a Toyota Yaris Cross icon, it only came with the lower boot shelf and has the mouldings for a raised shelf that I see other models come with. Will I be able to purchase the raised rear boot shelf or was the icon supposed to come with one, thanks Geordie.

Yaris Cross Design has 40:20:40 split-folding 2nd row rear seats.
However, underfloor storage and the 40:60 split deckboard in the boot are not available on this grade.

I made enquiries with my local dealer as I have the Yaris Cross Icon ordered and due for delivery in next week or so. The salesperson was shocked at the individual price and asked if I was sitting down. It was in excess of £600 (may have been £800 plus but I just put the idea out of my mind). I’ve decided to just go for the liner and seat protector pack.

There are no technical geofencing blockers however some countries’ national laws may differ thus making remote start illegal. Therefore we would advise to check the visiting country’s national law before using overseas.

It’s suggested that the car not be left unused for any extended period. If my car is parked on my driveway at home in the UK, and I’m on a long holiday overseas (hypothetical example being in South Africa), will I be able to start my car remotely using the app, local South African laws permitting?

We would advise using a trickle charger, since this is a good option to keep the battery fully charged while the vehicle is stationary for a period of time.
