Is the boot liner (if you purchase one after delivery) the same as the one in the essential protection pack?
Does it fit the lower level boot floor in the Icon model?

Is there a space saver wheel available for the Yaris Cross excel and if so does it fit in the original wheel well without losing any boot space.

The space saver wheel is not an option on the Yaris Cross unfortunately.
This helps to create more luggage capacity as well as increase fuel efficiency.

The Yaris Cross comes with a Tyre Repair Kit as standard.
However, a space saver spare wheel can be fitted to the Yaris Cross if desired.
This should be fitted by your Toyota Centre.

I am very much looking forward to receiving it but a little worried that delivery time given as the end of October will be put back,

Your Toyota Dealer would be best placed to advise on delivery times.
However, it is worth considering that there are currently part shortages due to worker shortages due to the spread of COVID-19 in Southeast Asia.
This means that delivery times may be pushed back.

I have ordered an Icon cross but the prior question asked about a space save-will a full size wheel/tyre fit the space under the cover. I’ve had VWs also and had to buy a full size alloy and tyre as the gunks ok till you have a puncture and some tyre places are a bit funy when you tell them you have used the gunk.

The 9″ screen has a higher definition as it is a new system. (Toyota Smart Connect)
However, Toyota Smart Connect (9″ screen) is not compatible with some of the features in the City Pack, so the 8″ Screen is used (Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system).
Although, you will still be able to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on your Yaris Cross Excel using a wired USB connection.

The short answer is no. You have to choose advanced only pack to get the sharp graphic. If you go for City & Advanced pack you will lose the graphic.

I’ve read on other forums that the yaris cross does not have auto locking, however on the main Toyota.co.uk site when looking at this vehicle, under the features of the car under ‘styling’ it says “speed detecting auto door locking”. This definetly doesn’t happen when I drive and on previous cars I owned it was as easy as holding in the locking button in car but this has no effect. Can you please advise if/how it can be turned on. Thanks.

Automatic door locking is as standard on all Yaris Cross grades.
This should be turned on automatically when your Yaris Cross reaches approximately 10-20mph.

On the above comments you say scuff plates are standered on yaris cross, I have just collected mine and there are no scuff plates. Any reason why.
