Toyota Roadside Assistance tops Which? survey

Which? magazine has awarded Toyota Roadside Assistance its top Recommended Provider status. The service came top of a table containing nine breakdown services offered by a range of car manufacturers.

For its 2014 survey Which? collected data from 6706 drivers who had called their roadside assistance provider within the last year, looking at the two key factors of ‘arrived within an hour’ and ‘repaired at the roadside’.

Toyota Roadside Assistance scored four stars for the ‘arrived within an hour’ aspect and five stars for repaired at the roadside, giving it a 85% performance score. Combined with a customer score of 88%, Which? gave Toyota Roadside Assistance a total score of 86% and the coveted Recommended Provider status.

Toyota Roadside Assistance is provided by the AA. Included in the package is Roadside Assistance throughout the UK, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

It also covers breakdown assistance at home, onward travel and roadside assistance in 44 European Countries.

  1. Today I did have flat tire in the early morning and I did call Toyota Roadside Assistance by 7:07 AM and asked for help, the Rep told me within an hour I’ll receive the service!!

    Unfortunately the service guy came at 9:00 AM exactly after too many phone calls from my side to follow up with Toyota Roadside Assistance and on the same time receiving many recorded messages from them telling me the service guy is on the way!!

    I should be at work by 9:00 AM and I left my house by 9:20 AM after he finished and have arrived late my work by 9:50 AM.

    I’m very upset because I know that I should receive the service within half an hour!!!
