Toyota is ringing in the new year by making January ‘Hybrid Month’. There will be a host of informative content across our social media channels, designed to take those who are still a little in the dark about petrol-electric cars, from hybrid novice to know-all. In addition, a host of offers are available across Toyota’s six-strong hybrid range.

There is a Toyota hybrid to suit every size, shape, and budget. The compact Yaris Hybrid supermini is the entry model to Toyota’s hybrid vehicle range, and is capable of returning up to 80.7 mpg on the combined cycle; it also boasts class-leading CO2 emissions from as low as 79g/km. The Yaris Hybrid is currently available from just £159 per month, with 0%* APR representative, and one year’s free insurance*.

For those wanting a little extra space, there is the Auris Hybrid. The Auris is built in Britain, at Toyota’s factory in Burnaston, Derbyshire, and is available in both hatchback, and Touring Sports station wagon bodystyles. The latter benefits from practical features such as an ‘Easy-Flat’ folding rear seat system.

The three-strong Prius family of vehicles rounds off Toyota’s hybrid range. There is the hatchback Prius, the range-extending Prius Plug-in, which is capable of travelling up to 15.5 miles on electric power alone, and the spacious, seven-seat Prius+. All three variants of Prius are currently available with 6.9% APR representative, and a £1000 deposit allowance*.

Every Toyota hybrid comes with an eight-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty in addition to the standard Toyota five-year warranty, ensuring piece of mind.

To keep up-to-speed on all things hybrid this month, like Toyota on Facebook and follow on Twitter. If you’d like to try a hybrid for yourself, leave a comment below stating the model that you are interested in, and we’ll be in touch.

  1. Got my Toyota Auris Touring Sports in November – Loving it! Very comfy smooth drive. I think I like it better than my previous Prius which was also a good car. The Sat Nav not quite as good as my Prius and I miss the music hard disc store, but better in ride quality (less road noise) and seats seem better for long journeys.

  2. I drive a 3.5 year old Skoda Octavia diesel and looking to change.
My wife and daughter both own Yaris cars (12 and 62 reg) one diesel and one petrol.
Am sceptical about how I can do better than a diesel. My mix of driving is 60% motorway and 40% comprising A-roads and town driving
Could I borrow a Auris Hybrid for a day at the weekend. I live in Flint. Flintshire. CH6 5NP

    1. Hi Shaun,
Thanks for getting in touch and it’s great to hear that you’ve a couple of Toyotas in the family already 🙂
It would be really good to get you behind the wheel of the Auris Hybrid. To make this happen, get in touch with Lindop Bros Queensferry on 01244 821031.
      Hope this helps!

    1. Hello Alan
      Thank you for your post.
No news yet regarding a hybrid RAV4 unfortunately. Hybrid is a core technology for us, we are slowly introducing this powertrain into an increasing number of models but it is fair to say this policy is more long term in respect of the development and introduction.
Sorry that it is not mroe positive at this stage but thank you for your interest in Toyota and hybrid technology.
      Hope this helps.
