The latest government advice around social distancing in England has made it possible for motorists to consider using their cars for work, essential journeys or to travel somewhere to exercise. This means vehicles that have been off the road for many weeks are being regularly pressed into service once again.
Vehicle health and maintenance is at the forefront of many motorists’ minds, so Toyota GB has launched a new initiative called the Back on the Road vehicle healthcheck.
An expert technician will carry out a 32-point check of your car
An expert technician at a participating dealer will carry out a thorough inspection of a customer’s vehicle to ensure it is fully fit and ready to return to the road. The 32-point check includes everything from the air conditioning system to the level of charge in the 12-volt battery, plus brakes, tyres, fluids and a computer diagnostic test.
Keeping customers safe on and off the road is our priority, so you can expect our dealer staff to respect social distancing guidelines, wear protective gloves and sanitise both your vehicle and the key when they’ve completed the healthcheck.
For those who are still concerned about travelling, however, some participating dealers are offering a convenient mobile service and can carry out the healthcheck at a customer’s home.
The Back on the Road vehicle healthcheck costs £30 (RRP). Any customer booking it will receive a £30 credit voucher that can be redeemed against future parts, servicing or MOTs at the same Toyota dealer within 30 days.
