The Toyota student placement scheme is now open!
University students have until December 7 to apply for the 2016 intake of our award-winning Toyota student placement scheme.
Student placements at Toyota run for a year and are open to undergraduates studying on sandwich degrees. Roles are available across all areas of our business at our head office in Epsom, Surrey, and include positions in our marketing, product technical, finance, IT systems, social media and public relations teams.
We offer ongoing support, feedback and great opportunities throughout a placement year. Our placements are the only route into our Graduate scheme, and many of our former students continue to work for us at all levels – so a placement may be the first step into your future career.
Each week during the application period, we’ll bring you views from our placements students about what it’s like to work for Toyota.
Hear we asked our Student Placement undergraduates to talk about their assumptions about Toyota before joining us, and their impressions since. Watch below to see what they came up with.
Our second placement student profile features Leah White, who works within Toyota as a Marketing Communications Assistant on a two-year placement. Leah talks about being given genuine responsibility in the work she does and the value of her time at Toyota.
Take a look below to see how she got on.
Previously we’ve spoken to Adam Mason, who works within Lexus as a Brand Marketing Assistant on a one-year placement. The main focus of Adam’s year was to set up and monitor the specifications and pricing of cars in the UK, working with teams in Europe and Lexus centres across the country.
Take a look at the video below to see Adams time at Toyota.
We asked all of our current students to name three facts about Toyota – watch the video below to see what they came up with.
On 7 December our award-winning student placement programme closes for applications. If you are interested in a career in the automotive industry why not get ahead start and apply now – watch the video to see outtakes from our current students.
