Toyota careers – what’s it like to work at Toyota GB?

Best companies to work for

A new series of films featuring some of Toyota GB’s most promising young employees shines a light on Toyota careers and the culture within our company.

The series offers an insight into a different aspect of life at Toyota GB and examines what can be expected from Toyota careers. The first film, published below, looks at specific elements of job roles at TGB.

Subsequent films, which will be published on the Toyota Magazine and our official YouTube channel in the coming weeks, investigate ‘transformation’, ‘diversity and inclusion’, ‘learning and development’ and ‘experience and culture’.

The first film features four members of the Toyota GB family: Beth Gilbert (Aftersales Performance Manager), Andres Baiocco (Corporate Planning Manager), Suraj Narayanamurthy (Manager, Sales Performance, Network Operations) and Hannah Bartlett (Specialist, Workplace Experience).

Filmed in and around our Eco-HQ in Surrey, the four employees briefly explain their Toyota careers and highlight some of the qualities which make Toyota GB such an appealing place to work.

“I started my journey at Toyota as a student on the student placement program back in 2016 and I’ve been fortunate enough to progress my way through the company since then,” said Beth Gilbert. “The best things about working for Toyota are the culture and the people. Everyone is supportive, collaborative, welcoming, friendly. You can have open, honest conversations. You feel empowered to make decisions.”

  1. Hi I have been a long term Toyota hilux user. The one I have at moment a 2020 2.4D invincible it has had one or two issues. The problem is the after care no parts no dealer in my area ridiculous waiting times for booking in for repairs. This is a good pickup with dire backup. Toyota customer relations is a wall put up to stop the users getting to the people that make a lot of the decisions. No email for anyone at Toyota no access to anything other than we are talking to the dealer. What for three weeks never before have I had such poor service. I have been driving Toyota Hilux since 1985 this is my eighth but I cannot put up with no pickup to use.
