The new Toyota Yaris is priced from £10,995 and has a new UK grade structure designed to broaden the appeal of the model to a more diverse customer base.
The line-up offers more choice, more equipment options and a wealth of advanced features for on-board comfort, communications, safety and style.
The new line-up presents the established Active and Icon grades, joined by new Sport and Excel trims. Yaris Hybrid can be specified in Icon and Excel versions.
Each grade has its own character, differentiated by details such as the interior trim and materials and treatment of various interior and exterior elements, including the lower grille, wheels, seats, centre console and instrument panel.
High equipment levels feature throughout the range, with a leather-trimmed steering wheel, air conditioning and the latest Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system fitted as standard from Icon grade. Climate control air conditioning is standard for all Hybrid models and for Yaris Excel.

Hello Jude
Thanks for your post.
The seating configuration has not changed only the materials, trims and design. We understand what you mean though. Feel free to stop by your local dealer though to check it out.
My upcoming new Toyota Yaris has Toyota touch 2,can I later update to Toyota touch 2 go or is that not possible and is the rearview camera fitted out with a tone or lines that I can reverse without any fuss?
Hello Roy
Thanks for your post and sorry for the delay in replying.
You will be able to upgrade your Touch 2 to Touch 2 with Go at a later date and your local Toyota dealer can go through the cost with you regarding this. We can also confirm that the reversing camera does have reversing lines to help as a guide when reversing your car.
Hope this helps but let us know if you have any other questions.
Why only disk brakes on the sport model ?
went to my local dealer last week and i knew more about the new yaris than they did. when will they be ready as they seem to be on a big aygo push at the moment…???
Hi Ralph
Thanks for your post and sorry to hear of the problem you have experienced in obtaining information regarding the new Yaris. Although Aygo has just been launched information regarding the new Yaris is available to them. Incase you have not seen, the details are now on our website. http://www.toyota.co.uk/new-cars/yaris.
We do know that over the next week or so demonstrator vehicles are being sent to our network but are there any questions or queries in the meantime that we can help you with? If you need us to check anything please let us know.
Is the 1 year free insurance on all excel modals
Hello Allan
Thanks for your post and for your interest in the new Yaris.
We can confirm that free insurance is on all Yaris grades apart from the Active model.
Hope this helps but let us know if you have any further questions.
Hi Michael
Thanks for your post and sorry for the delay in replying on this.
Basically it is to provide the Sport model better visual differentiation from the other grades. This model also has slightly lower suspension for example.
Hope this helps explain further.
Is the new Toyota Yaris demonstrator vehicle out yet?
Hello Brian
Thanks for your post.
Yaris demonstrators have started to be delivered to out UK dealer network. It would be worth checking first with your local Toyota dealer. If you are unsure about the location of your nearest dealer then we do have a dealer locator on our website http://www.toyota.co.uk. If you have any problems or need any further help please let us know.
just looked at the specs how come the island blue is not available on the sport mode thats the colour and model was going to order this weekend ????
Hi Ralph
Thanks for your post and very sorry to hear this.
We have run this quickly past our product team who advised that they decided not to make the blue available due to the standard red panels on the seats – it was not a combination which we felt would be very popular. We ultimately have to decide specs and grades for the cars we introduce and meeting every requirement is never going to be easy to do. We have passed on your comments about this request but we are sorry that we cannot meet this specification for you.
If you have any further questions please let us know.
on the specs it ionly says red stiching on the steering wheel and gear change nothing about red panels unless you have the piri piri option, is there red panels on the interior if so where as its not on the spec tables for the trim ?????
Hello Ralph
Thanks for your post and we have run this past the product team.
They have confirmed that the piri piri pack changes the colour of the upper doors and dashboard to red. The standard car (and with piri piri) has red panels in the seats.
Hope this helps and thanks for your interest in the new Yaris.
Hi
Thanks for the information I have ordered a new Sport Yaris in white there is very little red in the car and to be honest i would think that the dark blue would look good. In regard to the midnight blue I found out that it is not available in the UK they showed me all the paperweork and the manager checked as well and its not available… when i go and pick the car up i will show them the colour and the info on it.
in future can you state which colour and options are available in the UK or other countries so people dont go asking the dealer for somthing and its not available even though on the press release it says it is..
Hi Ralph
Thanks for your post and further feedback.
Thank you firstly for ordering a new Yaris Sport. We wanted to let you know that your comments about the colours and availability have been taken on board by the product team. They accept that we do need to be clear and provide a wider ranger of colours in the future and we do apologise for any confusion caused. We do appreciate your feedback and time you have taken to let us know about this.
Keep us posted about your new Yaris and when you take delivery.
