When is World Emoji Day?
World Emoji Day is celebrated on 17 July each year. Interestingly, the date selected is no fluke; the date was chosen because it appears in the ‘calendar’ emoji.
Who created World Emoji Day?
A hat tip to Jeremy Burge, founder of Emojipedia. He came up with the idea of World Emoji Day and the first annual celebration occurred in 2014.
