The Club Series versions of the Toyota GT86 focus on the coupe’s style and performance appeal as a car that’s all about the pure joys of driving. The latest addition to this select group is the new GT86 Club Series Blue Edition, offering an exclusive exterior paint finish and the option of a Performance Pack for even sharper handling.

The GT86 Club Series Blue Edition makes a strong street statement with its Electric Blue bodywork and contrasting black styling details, including front grille, rear spoiler and diffuser, door mirror housings and front fog light surrounds. Inside, the cabin is finished in sporting black leather and Alcantara.
The optional Performance Pack delivers a more focused drive with the introduction of a Sachs-tuned suspension upgrade, with Sachs Performance dampers, and larger Brembo brakes that give both increased stopping power and improved pedal feel. To accommodate the striking, large red Brembo calipers, new-design 17-inch black alloy wheels are fitted.
The Blue Edition benefits from the GT86’s poised and balanced chassis with low centre of gravity and low-set driving position. True to classic sportscar engineering, it has a front engine – a 197bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer unit – and rear-wheel drive. Customers can choose either manual or automatic transmission, both with six speeds. Top speed is 140mph (130mph auto) with 0-62mph acceleration in 7.6 seconds (8.2 auto).

Equipment specifications match those of the GT86 Pro and include a limited-slip differential, cruise control, dusk-sensing headlights, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, LED front and rear lights, and the Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system.

Can I get the performance pack retro fitted on my orange edition?

Can you confirm what the differences are in the new suspension, is it spring & dampers ? Just dampers ? Much stiffer or just better quality damping, are the ARB’S the same spec ? How does road compliance compare with stock set up ? Thank you.
Hi guys, there seem to be some data errors in the blog:
Firstly, my 2017 brochure says 0-62 MPH, 7.6s for Manual and 8.2s for auto. the blog says 7.7 and 8.4. Unless the performance pack has slowed the car down, it should be a data error.
Secondly, GT86 Club Series Blue Edition 6AT price should be £31320 ( or close to it), as the difference between a manual and its performance pack is £475, while the difference in the auto and its performance pack is £1460, which is odd.

TBH it’s quicker than that. The problem with the 0-62 time is 2nd gear won’t quite reach 62mph so there is a gear change. It’s quicker than stats suggest.

The optional Sachs dampers are a performance upgrade over the OE Showa shocks in that their internal structure and valves are fine-tuned to improve the yaw rate (input steering feel) and reduce body roll. Purists should also notice a more linear increase in steering effort.

Hi Folks. Just to let you know I made an accurate 0-60mph run in my Blue Edition DSG with the performance pack of…. 6.4seconds (sport button and manual paddle changes at peak power not redlining). Cross referenced with two GPS devices. I think with practice I could best that. Far quicker than quoted figures… By the way, the car is completely standard factory.
I’ve found the same, don’t have the performance pack but in race mode on level ground and dry ive done 0-60 in 6.6seconds
Yes Mike, they are somewhat quicker off the mark than data suggests.
Folks, I’m now using ESSO Supreme Synergy 99 Octane fuel. In the Midlands, I have been assured by ESSO that there isn’t any ethanol in this super fuel. Look up just how ethanol affects even engines rated to run with it…
However, the South West, Teesside and Scotland does have ethanol added.
My 2019 GT86 runs beautifully with this proper fuel: I’m running the tank down to a quarter with the ESSO Synergy and will do another 0-60 (not 0-62 I’m old school) run hoping to better my previous time of 6.4. Dry cool day level ground…
