Update on Toyota extended delivery times

Updated Toyota brand logo

Like many other businesses, Toyota is currently experiencing delays in the global supply chain for some of our components and this has unfortunately led to longer delivery times on some of our more popular new vehicles. In addition we are seeing unprecedented demand for our Hybrid Electric products.

Please be assured that our focus remains on doing everything we can to deliver our cars as quickly as possible and making sure that you have the most up to date information. Toyota’s global strength in production planning means that we have so far managed to minimise the impact of the shortages, but the global issues will result in delivery times longer than we would like.

Our Dealer network partners will have the very latest information and will be able to advise the best options for you, including the earliest available vehicles or sourcing our Approved Used cars.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

  1. I’ve just ordered a Toyota RAV4 Dynamic AWD (including the Premium Plus Pack) from my local Toyota dealership and I’m being told an expected delivery date of 31-Oct-2022 (which I can prepare for – although I wouldn’t want this to slide too far into 2023).

    1. Hi Chris,
      Thank you for your order.
If there is anything we can do to assist you in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us.
      Thanks.

  2. I ordered a Rav 4 dynamic in November I was told the delivery would be in February I have now been told it will be September. Although I am not happy with situation I am less happy with losing £3,000 on my P/X losing equity as well as the wait that’s if it comes when stated may be too much may look around at alternatives. What’s happened to the Toyota principle of Kaizen.

In September ‘ it was at Zeebrugge dock last
Weekend ‘ I received an email on Wednesday
To say the Yaris cross is now in Grimsby

  4. Wonder if a late delivery (end of May 2022) will mean the Yaris order will be updated from the 21.5 model to the 22. It is the least Toyota could do really. I am expecting the date to get pushed back in reality to late in 2022. Happy days. Hope my current car lasts until then.

Your Toyota Centre would be best placed to advise on this.

    2. I ordered a Hilux invincible x in October and it’s been down specced for 2022. Lost the JBL sound system. Bloody fuming. Funnily enough that has been added to another model. I’m tempted to cancel and keep my current Hilux after this

  5. Compared to Hylux and Rav4 what is the delay for the Corolla models? Is it the same or is there a difference?

  6. Hello,
We placed an order for two cars in October 2021:
    A RAV4 and a C-HR.
What are the delivery times for these as we were promised January 2022 for the C-HR and the RAV4 in March 2022.
The C-HR has been in the Uk since mid December 2021, and it’s now the end of January 2022.
How long will it take to get the car to the dealer so we can take ownership of it.

    1. Hi Paul,
Thank you for both of your orders.
Your Toyota Centre would be best placed to assist you with this.
      Thanks.

      1. Thank you for your reply, but the dealer keeps on saying that they don’t know which in my book is unacceptable as they should know.
We are thinking about cancelling both orders and going to another vac company.

      2. Hi Paul,
We are sorry to hear about this.
However, we can assure you that this is an industry wide issue, we are doing all we can to ensure your vehicles are delivered as soon as possible.
        Thanks.

  8. Ordered a new yaris hybrid at the beginning of January and paid a deposit but have been told by the dealer that they have no idea when it will be built but I should work on September 2022 or later when their p/x value of my car will be much less. Thinking of canceling and buying nearly new from another dealership.

  9. I have recently bought the current Toyota Yaris Dynamic. Can I have front and rear parking sensors fitted retrospectively?

      1. Hi Jan,
        Thanks for your reply.
Front & Rear Parking Sensors are only available on the Excel grade.
We would recommend contacting your Toyota Centre to see if they can be fitted.
        Thanks.

  10. Hi thanks for getting back to me. Do you know if the sensors are available as an accessory for my dealer to fit.
