Update on Toyota extended delivery times

Updated Toyota brand logo

Like many other businesses, Toyota is currently experiencing delays in the global supply chain for some of our components and this has unfortunately led to longer delivery times on some of our more popular new vehicles. In addition we are seeing unprecedented demand for our Hybrid Electric products.

Please be assured that our focus remains on doing everything we can to deliver our cars as quickly as possible and making sure that you have the most up to date information. Toyota’s global strength in production planning means that we have so far managed to minimise the impact of the shortages, but the global issues will result in delivery times longer than we would like.

Our Dealer network partners will have the very latest information and will be able to advise the best options for you, including the earliest available vehicles or sourcing our Approved Used cars.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    1. Hi,

Apologies for the delay. As explained above, global supply chain shortages are impacting most manufacturers, not just Toyota. Of course, you are able to cancel your order. Please contact your Toyota centre for more.

      Thanks

      1. my Toyota dealership told me if I cancel the order, I am not able to get back the deposit.

    1. Hi,

Thanks for your interest. The Proace family are some of the worst affected vehicles by the global supply chain issues. We are currently taking orders for Q3 2023.

      Sorry about that.

      Thanks

    1. Hi,

Thanks for your interest in the Mirai. We do have some stock available, so once you go through the approval process, you should be able to get one quite quickly.

We have an approval process for this vehicle to make sure your vehicle usage is appropriate, given the limited refuelling infrastructure.

Please register your interest in owning a Mirai here: https://forms.toyota.co.uk/sign-up-mirai

Somebody should be in touch with you to discuss further.

Thanks again for considering the Mirai, and we hope to see you behind the wheel soon.

  1. Ordered my Yaris cross at the start of the year and was told delivery in July. I can see from My T that production of my car hasn’t started. Nobody seems to be able to give me an update which is all I am after. If it takes around 60 days to manufacture and deliver a car, that is from Toyota, then my car should be in the production cycle but nobody can tell me.

    1. Hi Carlo,
Your Toyota Centre should have information on your order.
If they are unable to provide this, we would recommend that they raise a case with us.
      Thanks.

      1. Hi,
We would recommend contacting your lease company for further information on your order.
        Thanks.

    1. Hi Peter. My Yaris took 16 days from when it was built, in France, to arrive at the dealers. This was late April into May. Obviously, treat as a guide to time.

      1. Hi Martin how long did your Yaris take to be delivered to your dealer after it arrived in the UK?

Mines been sat in Derbyshire for 10 days now.

        Cheeers pal.

  4. How accurate is the in build on the My T app and who updates the progress of my car?
Can I rely on My T to update me?
Is it updated as soon as the build process starts by Toyota or is there a delay of a few days?

    1. Hi Carl,

The MyT app should provide the most up-to-date information on your order.
