Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd

Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd (TMUK) has two sites – Burnaston, near Derby, and Deeside, North Wales – where we manufacture Toyota vehicles and engines. We also customise and accessorise new cars and refurbish used cars to be resold through the network. TMUK was founded in 1989 and we employ approximately 3000 people.

In addition to manufacturing the Toyota Corolla and 1.8L ZR engine, TMUK provides used car refurbishment and customisation services. We also have a small consulting team that works with outside businesses to improve their operations based on Toyota’s lean TPS (Toyota Production Services) model.
