New Toyota Aygo x-cite edition leads revisions to city car’s line-up

The new Toyota Aygo x-cite edition is poised to make a zesty statement in the city car class. Its new Mandarin Pop metallic paintwork is set against a contrasting Bold Black metallic roof and 15-inch gloss black alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the interior is similarly enhanced with matching orange accents.

Further updates applied within the revised Aygo range include enhanced smartphone integration for all models from x-play upwards. Engineered by audio specialists at Pioneer, the multimedia system now includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

This improvement allows the user to mirror navigation commands from their connected smartphone on the seven-inch touchscreen, which in turn means that Toyota’s previously optional integrated navigation system has now been discontinued.

  1. Love the new colour externally but a bit overdone inside. Would a rollback roof be an extra. Have a red Aygo at the moment and with the roll back roof I get a free sun tan as well

    1. Hi Jenny,

Thanks for getting in touch. It’s great to hear that you like the look of the new colour and we will pass your feedback with regards to the interior on to our Product Team. The x-cite grade is not available with the fun roof option, however it is available as an option on the x-trend grade.

We wish you many more happy and sunny miles behind the wheel of your Aygo!

      Thanks.

  2. You can put Apple car play and Android auto on this model but nothing on the rest of your model especially the Corolla, what a shame
