When your car’s next MOT falls due, it makes sense to have the test carried out at your local Toyota Centre.
Any car needs an MOT once it has been on the road for three years and every 12 months from then on. Combine an MOT with your car’s annual health check or service and you’ll enjoy several benefits. Provided your Toyota passes the test, it will be off the road once rather than twice. What’s more, having the service carried out first should identify any issues which might cause the car to fail the MOT. These can be corrected before the car is inspected for the MOT, maximising the chance of passing first time.
Just as importantly, nobody understands your Toyota better than a Toyota technician. If the MOT reveals that your car needs replacement parts to pass the test and put it back in top condition, then a Toyota dealer will use genuine Toyota parts. There’s no compromising on quality or durability, and you can rest easy knowing the parts used have been specifically designed and made for your Toyota.
If your car does fail, you’ll be issued with a VT30 certificate which will explain the reason for the failure. You will be eligible for a free re-test so long as the MOT is carried out at the same Toyota dealership.
Don’t forget, the MOT check is not applicable in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.
