Get your energy back with the new Toyota Auris HSD hybrid TV ad

Ever heard of a car that actually recycles energy as it drives? It’s a breeze for Toyota’s newest full hybrid, Auris HSD, as our new TV ad explains.

Of course, Prius owners know all about the efficiency and smooth power of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system – but never before has full hybrid technology been available in a mainstream compact model. And this isn’t the only first: Auris Hybrid is built right here in the UK, making it the first hybrid to be mass-produced in Europe.

The new ad for Auris with Hybrid Synergy Drive will be hitting your TV screens from tomorrow, but we thought we’d give you a sneak preview:

  1. The music on the ad is a bad imitation version of ‘Big Chief'(Professor Longhair) – a remix of the original would have been better than this! Apart from the cheap music, the ad is good!

  2. Hey Melissa, any plans to release the track?

Many other brands have released ad music in the past, and this one as catchy as it it, would make a great sample.

Take over the creative department, and convince them to release it in the blog!!!!!:D

    1. Hey Derek – the original track is already ‘out there’ – the ad music is just a rip off of the track – check out ‘Big Chief’ by professor longhair or Dr John – or even Lilly Allen ‘knock ’em out’- that’s the original riff – the ad version just stole the piano riff to make a piece of ad music – they will have only done a 30 sec version anyway!
      Go to the original source!

  3. Hi,

I did, but strangely enough, I like better the sample created for the ad, without the voices, and the clear piano…

    Thanks anyway!

    1. Well at least they changed the ad music to save the copyright infringement! Good work on that! Whoever worked on the music should watch out who they’re stealing from in future!

  4. Hi.. does anyone know which agency made the Toyota Auris HSD TV commercial??? I am so desperate to find this information because I need it for my course work!!! Thanks x
