Toyota will unveil the new Land Cruiser at this year’s Frankfurt motor show, alongside a unique Toyota C-HR design study from its European studio ED2.
The Toyota C-HR Hy-Power concept will show off the increasing success and relevance of hybrid technology. It emphasises the new crossover’s emotional and powerful look – and will hint at a future expansion of Toyota’s hybrid powertrain line-up within its core models.
Toyota will also take the covers off the new Land Cruiser. The culmination of 65 years of SUV heritage and leadership in quality, durability and reliability, it features a unique-in-class body-on-frame construction.
The full-blooded Yaris GRMN hot hatch will be on display throughout the show, alongside the new Auris Touring Sports Freestyle, which will bring new personalisation options to the British-built Auris range.
The Toyota press conference will take place at 8.50am on the show’s press day, 12 September. The Frankfurt motor show is open to the public Saturday 16 September to Sunday, 24 September 2017.
I have already ordered, please stop bombarding me with sales emails.
Hi Aidan,
Congratulations. Please ‘unsubscribe’ from the email. If you continue to receive emails, please do get back in touch. Thanks.
We have got a C-HR Limited Edition. It is exceptional for fuel economy, (avg around 63mpg). The chassis and drive is excellent, especially for a SUV. I know a race version has already been developed (May 2016 Nurburgring) I am hoping this C-HR hy-power concept is going to be a higher powered hybrid powertrain, similar but smaller than the one already in the Lexus LC500h. If it is then I am ready to pre-order when available. If it isn’t going to be more sporty, (to compete (and beat) the likes of Nissan Nismo), then it will a waste of the potential of TNGA already inherent in the current model.
And please get them to put a Sport mode button for direct access, not hidden in the menus.
Hello, Robert
Thanks for the feedback. We are delighted to read that you’re enjoying the C-HR fuel economy and driving experience. We will pass on your comments relating to the powertrain access to the ‘sport’ mode to our product team. Further details on the C-HR Hy-Power will be available on the blog when the show opens on 12 September.
Regards.
My son was in the process of buying a Auris GB25 from the dealer who initially agreed to take his 54 plate Ford Focus under the scrappage scheme. They have owned the vehicle for over 6 years and was initially in his wife’s name but they split up 4 months ago and since it is in his name. She is shown on the V5 as the previous keeper. Can he still use his used car.
Hi Ronnie,
Thanks for getting in touch. As the vehicle is under his name, he can use the car. Hope this helps.
